SHALOM® ranges of barriers are built from heavy gauge steel and the folded and welded case is extremely sturdy. The high torque electro-mechanical motor and gearbox are spring loaded and damped, decreasing mechanical stress and providing long term durability and Problem free service.

Collapsible barricades:
Not meant for fast moving boom barrier, usable length of boom will be reduced
Speed can be reduced to 0.8 sec for specific application & specific lengths
Opening times: Models available from 2.5mts to 8mts
Uses a lever system that locks the barrier boom at both end positions. Ensures that in the event of a power failure, the barrier boom can still be moved easily by hand. A built in spring mechanism provides a precise counterbalance for the boom barrier, the springs are Set to correspond with the boom length prior to installation, however if necessary, these can be easily reset during installation to allow for site specification. The barrier is driven by a torque motor
It is maintenance free and can be installed in any position with out the risk if damage. Power consumption is at a minimum, Power is dissipated in the form of heat, which prevents condensation and corrosion, therefore guaranteeing problem free operation especially during cold climatic conditions.
Boom: Built from highly stable Aluminium alloy to produce rectangular profile of 100X55X1.6mm or 80x38x1.6mm.
If the boom length is more then 3mts end support is required.
Retractable Flap barrier is available in single lane & multiple lane configurations as per site requirements. Two housings with retractable flap make one lane of access. One housing with two flaps back to back is used in between the end columns to increase the number of lanes.
Retractable Flap Barriers
Technology:
The drive mechanism incorporates a torque controlled DC Servo motor using latest PWM Technology to keep pace with upcoming technologies with almost 100% duty cycle & Operating on single arm against retractable barrier. This produces a speed controlled motion. The lever arm can be adjusted so that panels can be opened after certain force is applied at a certain position. In the even of power failure panels can be specified to remain closed (Fail Locked mode) OR Open (Fail Safe mode). The retractable barrier can be operated in normally closed or open mode (Optional)
Enclosure:
The housing is made of heavy–gauge Mild Steel sheet metal & powder coated. Optional colours are also available on request if required. Stainless Steel housings are also available in 316 grades with mat finish. The retractable flap barrier is made from 18/19 MM opaque acrylic or polycarbonate (optional)
Installation:
Housing is fixed to a structural floor & will not require support from sidewalls or ceilings. Fixing is normally by means of expanding bolts (Anchor bolts) into structural concrete base.
bi-directional optical turnstile with drop barrier arms. It can be used as a purely optical turnstile or as a barrier-type optical turnstile. When in "barrier mode" the steel barrier arms act as an additional visual deterrent to unauthorized access attempts. Breakaway barrier type is acceptable by all safety code regulations. Method of An access card or other credential is presented to the customer supplied
Access control reader mounted inside the casework. If entry is authorized, the Traffic Flow Indicator (TFI) will light as a green arrow pointing in the direction authorized, the barriers will open, and a chime will sound indicating to the user that they may pass. Unauthorized access attempts and tailgaters are singled out by local visual/audible alarms and access control system event condition.
