Sliding gates offer a number of advantages over swing gates. A sliding gate does not need the space that a swing gate requires to open. This leaves the full length of the driveway usable for parking vehicles. (Useful where space is restricted.) A closed sliding gate offers better resistance to being forced than a pair of swing gates and therefore higher security. This unit drives through a hydro-dynamic clutch, a fluid system which is extremely mechanically sympathetic and allows large loads to be moved, stopped and reversed with the minimum of stress to the drive unit. Designed for use on large and busy industrial sliding gates, the SP 4000 is the most powerful sliding gate motor available. It requires a 3 phase power supply and uses the Control Panel with contactors for accurate control and maximum functionality.
