OPERATION SPECIFICATION:
- The locking and unlocking of the turnstile is accpmplished by use of a low voltage, 24V DC, System, activation is by a momentary, isolated normally open dry contact closure.
- Electrical controls are available in both entrance and exit directions. Controls may be fail-safe, fail-lock or any combination, in either controlled direction. If free passage is required, no electrical controls are provided.
- All fail-lock applications include a mechanical key release which will allow free passage in case of an emergency.
- Once a direction of passage is opened, it will remain open until the user proceeds through to the other side of the turnstile.Once the user proceeds through the turnstile, the reset system automatically re-locks the turnstile and readies it for the next user. The system will stay open until the user proceeds through unless an optional time out realy is used.
All of our full height turnstiles could be mechanically controlled for simple exit only operations and also can answer all needs of sophisticated access control systems. The choices are; operated in one or both directions free or locked in opposite ways and or controlled in both ways. Any combination of fail-lock or fail-safe is available.
The turnstile is available in variety of finishes including mixture of painted steel or stainless steel body with painted or stainless steel arms. Operation of the turnstile is solved with self centering, heavy duty motor. All turnstiles can be ordered with either 3 or 4 center arms. Rotating column turns without any vibrations. All turnstiles are designed with one or two way operation
